再过一会儿我们就要到达今天的目的地—避暑山庄了，在这里，我先给大家简单的介绍一下。避暑山庄，又称“热河行宫”，坐落于承德市中心以北的狭长谷地上，占地面积564万平方米，相当于颐和园的两倍，故宫的八倍，是我国现存最大的皇家园林。山庄始建于清康熙四十二年，其营建历时近90年，是清代康、乾盛世的象征。目前，避暑山庄及其周围寺庙为世界文化遗产以及国家5A级旅游景区。
